To achieve a threefold increase in the number of science and math teachers that FIU produces each year over the next four years (more than 40 per year expected by 2013), to implement evidence-based innovations in curricula, and to create innovative educational landscape at a Hispanic-serving institution that may serve as a model for other institutions.
