ENLACE offers after-school and summer educational services to elementary and middle school students. The after-school program provides reading and fitness instruction to children who are reading below grade level and are at risk of not being promoted. Its goal is to get the children to grade level in reading. The summer program offers students enrichment opportunities and a college prep curriculum and is housed at FIU’s Modesto A. Maidique Campus. Its goal is to provide students with the academic preparation and personal motivation to attend college.
